Accelerate Networks, Zscaler partner for Africa, recently confirmed that Africa’s largest food retailer, a multi-year Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) customer, has chosen Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) for its work-from-home strategy.

The solution was chosen due to its ability to improve application security, deliver a seamless user experience and provide advanced application and user visibility and control.

“Zscaler Private Access is a cloud-native, zero trust application access solution that is solving the challenges most often associated with remote application access while helping organisations deliver an improved security posture and user experience for home workers,” says Stuart Hardy, Chief Marketing Officer at Accelerate Networks.

Traditional remote access solutions are cumbersome, rely on hardware and don’t support direct to cloud application access, while exposing the company network to attacks. With ZPA, users automatically connect to their applications as if they were on the company network and enjoy improved user experience with direct multi-cloud support.

“The key for IT staff is security and control. ZPA allows IT to remove all risk associated to network access by only allowing users to connect to authorised applications. MFA provides stricter user verification, and company applications become invisible to the general public or Internet,” adds Hardy

Zscaler provides the leading cloud-native and zero trust application access solution with more than 10 years of experience building and delivering cloud security at scale. As the outright global leader in Cloud Web Gateway (Gartner), ZPA is helping customers extend the product into application access while reducing complexity and IT cost.

Accelerate Networks is a proud 10-year partner of Zscaler for sub-Saharan Africa.
